Baggage Allowance

The Passenger is exclusively entitled to 02 suitcases of 35 pounds each per adult ticket or 01 suitcase of 35 pounds per minor ticket.

Any type of luggage that is not a standard suitcase is considered excess or oversized luggage. Examples: televisions, boxes, coolers, strollers, paint cans and among others.

As long as it has wheels, this type of luggage will be allowed, with a maximum limit of 2 units per person.

Excess Luggage

Excess luggage will be admitted when the capacity of the bus allows it, subject to space availability and its acceptance is not always guaranteed.

If you exceed the weight allowed in your luggage during high season such as summer, an excess weight fee will be applied and will be allowed depending on space availability.

Hand Luggage

In the cabin or inside the bus, only 01 piece of hand luggage is allowed, which can be a backpack, bag or briefcase with a maximum of 10 pounds.

Traveling with cardboard boxes, plastic containers or laundry bags is not permitted.

Liability and Lost Luggage

Autobuses Los Chávez Inc. is not responsible for valuables not declared at boarding and transported as luggage.

Autobuses Los Chávez Inc. is not responsible for lost luggage without a tag.

In case of loss, Autobuses Los Chávez Inc. will only cover the amount of $25 dollars for each suitcase presenting the tag, during the trip.

Autobuses Los Chávez Inc. is not responsible for items left on buses or terminals, nor for the loss of luggage inside the bus. Its care is the exclusive responsibility of the Passenger.

Customs and Documentation

At customs, each Passenger is responsible for taking care of and moving their own luggage to the bus.

Autobuses Los Chávez Inc. is not responsible for luggage detained by customs authorities. No liability will be accepted for loss, breakage, damage or deterioration of any item transported.

The Passenger is responsible for carrying all the documentation required to cross international borders.

Drivers are not authorized to wait for passengers more than 1 hour if the passenger does not carry valid and current documentation at customs checkpoints.

Prohibited Items and Security

The Passenger may not carry weapons or objects prohibited by law; that may put the safety of passengers at risk. It is the passenger's obligation to allow and provide all facilities to the company's personnel to carry out the inspection of their hand luggage and their person.

It is not permitted to transport in the trunk and/or cabin:

• Illegal drugs, chemicals and/or toxic substances

• Illegal weapons, firearms, explosives and/or flammable objects

The transportation of pets is not allowed.
